Career Opportunity

Growing western Colorado public accounting firm is looking for a senior/supervisor CPA or CPA candidate with 6+ years progressive tax experience for our Grand Junction office. Applicant must be experienced in the preparation of complex technical federal and state income tax returns for individuals and business entities including multi-state and consolidations. Candidate must be able to analyze accounting records, systems and reports to gather the information necessary to prepare tax returns and financial statements. Must also have experience in tax research and preparation of income tax projections. This position requires supervision of staff in preparation of individual and business tax returns and review of their work.

Candidate will prepare and supervise preparation of compilation and reviewed financial statements of business entities including consolidations. Audit experience is a plus. This position demands excellent analytical, organizational, communication and computer skills. Individual must demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision, meet deadlines, communicate well with others, and have experience with computer software that includes CCH ProSystem FX, QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, and trial balance software.
